The atmospheric condition called fog is amazing, its appearance during
the hours after midnight and before dawn turns the familiar
into mystery. The throw of fog, light and shadow often creates an
unfathomable expression of a seldom seen liminal world. It is a
challenge to photograph such a primal force of nature, to reach beyond
the rational mind to our innate understanding of the
inexplicable beauty of the material world.
